These are the terms for using Style-LORE — the website at style-lore.com and the Style-LORE mobile apps. They're written to be read, not skimmed past. By creating an account or subscribing to Premium you're agreeing to them. If you have a question about anything here, email support@style-lore.com.

What Style-LORE is

Style-LORE is a personal-styling app: a quiz that estimates your Kibbe body type, style words and color season; a closet organizer; a checker that gives a verdict on garments and photos; a community feed; and, for Premium subscribers, an AI Stylist that gives written feedback on a photo. It is a tool for thinking about clothes, not professional advice. Results are a starting read, not a fixed label, and you're always the one who decides what to wear.

Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use Style-LORE (16 where local law requires it). Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Home → Delete my account, which removes your profile, posts, closet and subscription record from our servers as described in the Privacy Policy.

Premium subscriptions

Style-LORE Premium is a paid subscription — currently $4.99 a month or $39.99 a year, plus any tax your location requires. It unlocks the AI Stylist, a closet of up to 300 pieces with the gap read and capsule builder, and a saved history of every check. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future billing periods; if they do, we'll tell you in advance and you can cancel before the new price applies.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or yearly, whichever you chose — until you cancel. You'll be charged through whichever store you bought from:

On the website, payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never touch our servers.
In the Android app, billing is handled by Google Play under your Google account.
In the iOS app, billing is handled by Apple under your Apple ID.

Cancelling

You can cancel any time, and it takes one click — no calls, no emails, no questions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've already paid for, and then your account simply goes back to the free plan. Nothing you made is deleted.

Web subscriptions: Home → Manage subscription opens your billing portal, where you can cancel, update your card, or view invoices.
Google Play: Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Style-LORE → Cancel.
Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Style-LORE → Cancel.

Deleting the app does not cancel a store subscription — please cancel through the store first.

Refunds

Because you can cancel at any moment and keep what you paid for until the period ends, we don't normally refund unused time on a subscription. There are three exceptions:

Something didn't work. If Premium didn't do what it promises — the AI Stylist wouldn't run, a purchase didn't unlock, a charge appeared that you didn't expect — email support@style-lore.com within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it in full. We'd rather refund than argue.
Where the law gives you a right to cancel (for example the 14-day cooling-off period in the EU and UK), you have that right and we'll honor it.
Store purchases follow the store's own refund policy: Google Play refunds are requested through Google Play, and Apple refunds through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue those refunds ourselves, but we'll help you find the right place.

Shopping links

Some "Shop" links in the Checker and the closet gap read take you to Amazon. Style-LORE is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, Style-LORE earns from qualifying purchases. This never changes the price you pay, and the suggestions themselves come from your quiz results, not from who pays us.

The AI Stylist

The AI Stylist sends the photo you choose to an AI model to produce written feedback. It is opinion generated by software: it can be wrong, it may not suit your taste, and it isn't a substitute for a human stylist, tailor or medical professional. Don't send photos of other people without their permission, and don't send photos of anyone under 18.

Community

The community feed is for sharing outfits and encouragement. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, anything sexual, hateful, harassing or illegal, or anything that targets another member. We can remove posts and close accounts that break this, without notice if the situation calls for it. You keep ownership of what you post; you give us permission to display it inside Style-LORE so the feature works.

Your content and ours

Your quiz results, closet, photos and posts are yours. The Style-LORE name, design, quiz, type guides and code are ours; please don't copy or resell them. The Kibbe body-type system was created by David Kibbe and we're not affiliated with him — our quiz is our own interpretation of it.

The usual limits

Style-LORE is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free, and we're not liable for decisions you make based on a verdict, a palette or a stylist read. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the past twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, for subscribers, tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Style-LORE after that means you accept the updated terms.
